You have survived through to week 5! Congratulations! And guess what? You don't have to deal with bye weeks! However, there have been a ton of injuries throughout the NFL this season so good luck dancing your way through that this week. I myself regretfully had 2 players who did not suit up for their Week 4 game and forgot to swap them out! Don't forget about the swap function if you need it! You should see it on your matchup page if you have an injured player on your team.
Congrats to our lone winner and loser, Team E and Team O. Team E is 4-0 and Team O is 0-4. You each have been impressive in your own way.
A few things that have changed. I have consulted with the great crystal ball that is Claude and have implemented a few changes to the draft room. As some of you know, it is difficult to communicate with people you don't know, especially around setting draft times. I have implemented a few more ways around this other than you all simply texting in the chat feature. One, a reminder that the draft room will automatically open 15 minutes out of your scheduled games' kickoff. If you have not been able to communicate with the other manager, then this will be your draft time. I have hopefully created a function where the site recognizes you being in the draft room and allows your to draft against the other manager's draft bot in case the other manager is MIS. Thank you Team D for assisting in this matter. I have also created a 2 minute draft lobby that alleviates the stress of being the home team, getting the first pick, and the site being slow to load the draft room or you simply forgetting that you are the first pick. Thank you Team O and apologies. On top of this, if your opponent is MIA (not Miami) and not within the draft room, the draft bot will pick their next player automatically if they are not there. There will no longer be a 2 minute window for them draft and will make the draft a lot faster. This should only come into play if your opponent is not in the draft and you are, especially within the 15 minute before kickoff window.
Projections have been updated a tiny bit. I am still trying my best to work around the backup QB draft issue. Atlanta is continually proving difficult due to their many QB issues. Team G and Team C, good luck this week and hopefully you can find a time to draft and not leave it to the fate of my dreaded auto-draft bot. I have also tried my best to add "weight" to the auto-draft bot. This way Bijan Robinson is still the #1 pick in case you are in fact auto-drafting and the away team gets a clean advantage if the draft bot selects a QB #1 overall. What this really means is that i nerfed the QB #1 overall bot pick since QB "points above replacement" (PAR) [very similar to WAR in baseball] is much lower than your #1 RBs PAR.
One final adjustment. I have added a Draft Board which you will now see in your matchup page. This way, if you can't make it to the draft, the draft bot tries its best to leverage what you put on your draft board before anything else in the projections. Thank you again to Team D.
