Promethium is a free-to-play weekly fantasy football game operated by Promethium Fantasy LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("Promethium," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use promethiumfantasy.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account information, such as your email address, display name, and password or the sign-in provider you choose (for example, Google).
• Game activity, such as the leagues you create or join, weekly rosters, picks, scores, and league standings. League names, display names, and rosters are visible to other members of your leagues.
• Messages to us, such as emails you send for support or feedback.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit.
• Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure how the Service is used, and serve advertising. See "Advertising and cookies" below.

We do not collect payment information. Promethium is free, has no paid entry, and awards no cash prizes.

How we use information

• To create and manage your account and run your leagues, rosters, and scoring.
• To show league results and standings to other members of your leagues.
• To respond to your questions and send important notices about the Service.
• To understand how the Service is used so we can fix problems and improve it.
• To display advertising that helps keep Promethium free.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and to comply with the law.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can control personalized advertising:

• Opt out of personalized ads from Google at Google Ads Settings.
• Opt out of personalized ads from many third-party vendors at aboutads.info or, in the EU/UK, youronlinechoices.eu.
• Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Service, such as staying signed in, may not work without cookies.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:

• Service providers that help us run the Service, including Google Firebase (account sign-in and data storage), Vercel (website hosting), and Google Workspace (email). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Advertising partners, such as Google, which collect information through cookies as described above.
• Other league members, who can see your display name, rosters, and results within leagues you join.
• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Promethium, our users, or others.
• Business transfers, if Promethium is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

Sports statistics shown in the Service come from a licensed third-party data provider. We do not send your personal information to that provider.

How long we keep information

We keep account and game information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we need to keep it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our terms. Historical league results may remain visible to other league members in de-identified form.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to provide a copy of it, by emailing ryan@promethiumfantasy.com. We will respond within 45 days and may need to verify your identity first. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Depending on where you live, including California, New Jersey, and other U.S. states with privacy laws, or the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, you may have additional rights, such as the right to opt out of targeted advertising, to limit use of your information, or to appeal a decision we make about your request. To appeal, reply to our response with "Appeal" in the subject line. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For users in the EEA and UK, we process personal information to perform our agreement with you (running your account and leagues), based on our legitimate interests (improving and securing the Service), and, for advertising cookies, based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International users

Promethium is operated in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will provide notice through the Service or by email.
