Welcome to Week 7! Sorry I missed my weekly newsletter in Week 6, but there weren't many changes I had made to the site so there was not much to update you on.
Around the league
Team E remains undefeated! 6 weeks into the season and no one has been able to get around Team E. Please try harder and congrats to Team E who, second to me, has the most experience going into this, so he should be winning. Team O finally got his first victory last week with a win over Team D. Congrats Team O, try harder. Team M, you too.
Stats from the season so far:
Overall, the home team has won more games so far at a clip of 28-20 (Home vs Away) with home teams averaging 95.4 points and away teams averaging 89.8. This is obviously still a small sample size, but something very interesting to think about going forward.
31% of all matchups have been single digit wins! You guys are really giving it your all. Team E has two of the top 3 lowest margin victories with their win over Team M back in Week 2 in the BAL vs NO game with a margin of victory of 0.5 points and their win over Team L in Week 5 in the DAL vs TB game with a margin of victory of 1.2 points!
SUNDAY MADNESS
Everyone is playing on Sunday! Our bottom feeders, Team M and Team O, kick us off with the London game at 9:30am and Team D and Team C wrap us up at 4:25pm which means this is going to be a very busy Sunday! I hope everyone gets their drafts in on time! I will be available if anyone needs help scheduling their drafts this week. Remember to utilize the new text alert function if you would like pre-draft alerts.
Anyway, thank you all again for taking the time to draft every week. I hope you are enjoying it because I certainly am even though I am currently out of the playoffs. One more small reminder, we are playing through Week 18 of the NFL so we have just hit the 1/3rd mark of the season. Playoffs start with the WildCard round and if you ain't in it, there will be a toilet bowl. I will start thinking of a prize for the winner simply because of the time I know a lot of you are already putting into this. As always, I am open ears when it comes to recommendations about site/league improvement.
