Welcome to Week 2. You have survived the bugs and issues of Week 1. Some of you thrived, others did not. Congrats to all week 1 winners.
This week already started off strong with a great Thursday night game between Team I and Team H. Team I jumped out to the early lead and was thought to run away with it, but Team H, unlike his Lions, would not be put down and stormed back in the second half to win it.
We did run into one issue where the site's scoring source decided to not go live which left the matchup completely unscored until roughly 8 hours after the game ended. There is not much I can do about this as it was strictly the fault of the scoring provider I subscribe to. I am hoping that the few times I cursed out their chat bot and the emails I sent to actual people at the company will hold some weight.
As a reminder, don't forget to draft this week before the 1 o'clock slot. Most of you were able to get your drafts in last weekend despite a very chaotic weekend. I know that Team G was faced with the impossible after having the autodraft bot pick Brock Bowers as his second pick. Another issue with the scoring servicer as they provide the site's injury updates as well, but that was not updated in time for the autodraft bot to understand not to draft him.
We are working through these issues together. Please reach out to me if you find that you have drafted a player that is not actually playing this week and the website is not letting you swap them out since they do not have an injury designation. I will manually adjust this as a I search for better options to mitigate this.
